Crystal and I just seen Marley & Me!

This was one of the most heart warming movies I have ever saw.

I love the message and the story line is adorable.

Who knew the biggest trouble maker can be the best pet. I have always been a dog person and Crystal has always been a cat person. Sadly she is allergic to cats and had to give hers up several years ago. I have a dog and Crystal has fallen in love with her, but remained loyal to cats. She would always ask me how I could be such a dog person. The movie confirmed my reasoning.

Dogs are loyal, love unconditionally, and will follow you to the end of the earth.

A 6 year old Chow Collie with a heart of gold.

This dog will let you do anything to her but be prepared for her to do anything back to you!

Christmas Tat

Christmas was wonderful this year. Most of my christmas came early but the gifts opened yesterday was more then I ever expected!

I went today and completed my christmas...

I now have two AFI and one Blaqk Audio!

I spent 4 hours at Monsters Ink today. Mine only took 20 minutes. Crystal got one too....

I have to admit being a little jelous! I love her's but I wouldn't have wanted to sit there for the 3.5 hours that it took to do it!

Merry Christmas

It is Christmas Eve and for the first year ever I had to go gift hunting. The holidays really snuck up on me this year :(

Let me just say that the mall should be avoided at all cost on Christmas Eve. It was more frighting then Black Friday...

I am finally finished wrapping presents and they are all under my pathic excuse for a Christmas tree.

I can't wait for tomorrow. I made some fun finds for my sister's christmas this year, and I can't wait for her to open them. She has been begging me to tell but I have managed to not drop a single hint. (I have a bad habit of giving in, normally)

My family just might kill each other over Christmas break.
My brother is being his usually annoying self with a little more attitude thrown in. He has discovered the word bastard and likes to use it on my grandpa. Lets just leave it as - that doesn't go over well :(

I am so sick of everyone in this house not getting along. Thank God I work and am able to be gone most of the day but with the way the Holidays fell this year I will only work Monday and Tuesday and then be off until the following Monday. 5 days at home. HELP!!!!!

Thank God for AFI!!! I can turn them on and go to my happy place. I have a feeling that I will be spending much of the next two weeks attached to my Ipod!

Christmas at the Zoo

I went to Christmas at the Zoo with my family last night! My sister, brother and I rode the simulator and were once again distrubed by the idea of the holiday show they run. The concept is "Santa's Late" where santa has only 5 minutes left to deliver his presents. Last year it began with Santa on a beach drinking some tropical drink and then saying "Ho Ho Ho no Santa's late" and then taking off to deliver presents. I can see where this may have gotten several bad reviews from the parents so it was not shown this year but you still get the sensation that santa is very intoxicated while driving the sleigh.

After the simulator we went and rode the holiday express! That was fun but way to cold!!! The night ended in the gift shop where I happily brought home a stuffed wild dog and named her Zula!

Wishing I was in CA

Man do I wish I was in California today. I really really want to be at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show today but Noooooo. I am stuck in crappy Indiana and will have to watch the show on youtube later. But I did see an updated picture of Jade and his idea of a christmas cookie so that put me in a little better mood! Plus today is the only nice weather day we are going to have for the next week so I guess I will be able to deal!

Lonely

This is Zulu, he is an African Dog! One of my favorite animals. African Dogs do not do well alone. They are an incredibly social animal. Poor Zulu was all alone so he was moved to another zoo.
I took these pictures the day before he left. I will miss him very much. :(
